Arizona Common Core Standards were adopted June 28, 2010 by the Arizona State Board of Education with full implementation in the 2013-14 school year. On Oct. 26, 2015 the State Board of Education formally reversed its 2010 decision to adopt the Common Core Standards, a result that effectively severed Arizona’s ties to them.

Assessment Information:

Arizona officially joined the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) January 2012, but dropped participation May 2014.
