About the Panelists and Special Guest

Mark Masloski is the VLA Director at Jefferson County ESC, overseeing support for over 100 teachers and 150 school districts across Ohio, Virginia, and surrounding states. He develops curriculum content for asynchronous online learners and leads the VLA team to ensure high-quality educational delivery. Mark holds a BA in History with certifications in Grades 7-12 Social Studies and K-12 Intervention Specialist from Muskingum College, and an MA in Education Curriculum with a focus on Educational Leadership from Salem International University. With over three decades in education, his career includes roles such as Adult Education Instructor, Intervention Specialist, Athletic Director, Head Boys Basketball Coach, and special education department leader, serving at various schools including East Guernsey, Conotton Valley, Edison Local, and Steubenville City Schools.

Dr. Sara Delano Moore is a visionary senior education leader with a passion for driving positive change in education through strategic planning, engaging professional development, and curriculum development. Known for fostering inclusivity and advancing instructional practice through research-informed and data-driven approaches. A dynamic presenter and coach, recognized for developing and implementing tailored professional development programs, driving sustained and systemic enhancements in Mathematics, Science, and STEM education. Proven success in grant writing and administration. Deep expertise in product development and management, contributing to comprehensive educational solutions. Rich is passionate about eEdTech and helping people discover pathways to successful careers. He leverages his many years of business experience in strategy, product development, brand creation and sales & marketing as a frequent industry speaker and sought after consultant.

Beginning his career in digital marketing and web development, Rich was recruited into the private, independent school market to help usher in digital technologies and social media. During this time, Richard served as a student advisor, and was nominated to serve on the CAIS (Connecticut Association of Independent Schools) Technology Commission. In 2012, Rich joined York & Chapel, a brand and digital transformation agency where he began working with secondary and higher ed clients, developing strategies for student engagement and pathway creation. In 2014 Richard founded CareerPath, a SaaS engagement platform. Over the past ten years, Rich has given back to the industry as an advisor to numerous EdTech startups, and generally has had a blast doing what he loves to do — help others succeed.

Now in his ninth year as Principal of Uxbridge High School, Michael Rubin has successfully led Uxbridge High School’s designation as a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Innovation Pathway school, one of the first four schools in the state to earn this distinction. He currently serves as a DESE Peer Ambassador for Innovation Pathways, is chair of the Blackstone Valley Ed Hub Board of Advisors, and is the Massachusetts State Coordinator for the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). As part of his efforts, UHS was named one of the top five schools in the “Innovation Impact” category at ASU/GSV in 2024. In the past three years, more than 70 schools have visited UHS to learn from the school’s leaders, teachers, and students. He was named Massachusetts High School Principal of the Year in 2020. Mr. Rubin earned his Bachelor's Degree from Brown University and Masters Degree from Bridgewater State University, and he recently completed his doctorate at the University of the Cumberlands.

David is the Director of Digital Innovation at Big Picture Learning and the Co-Creator of the ImBlaze Internship Management platform. He pitched the idea of ImBlaze to Big Picture Learning as a solution to the complexities of managing Real World Learning. Before spearheading the ImBlaze initiative, David served on the leadership team at Gibson Ek High School, an innovative program in Issaquah, Washington, where he was also the founding Internship Coordinator. Additionally, he spent a decade as an Advisor and Assistant Principal at The Met Sacramento High School. Prior to his education career, David led wilderness leadership expeditions for NOLS, taking groups such as NASA Astronauts and US Naval Academy students on extended journeys in challenging environments to develop their leadership abilities
